Yellowstone National Park

The Lodges of East Yellowstone are located in the Wapiti Valley between Cody, Wyoming and Yellowstone National Park. Yellowstone is America's First National Park, established in 1872 and located in northwestern Wyoming. Created by volcanic action, much of the park rests on top of a caldera still considered to be an active volcano. Half the world's geothermal features are in Yellowstone. The park is home to hundreds of species of animals such as grizzlies, wolves, moose, bighorn sheep, coyotes and free-ranging herds of bison and elk, many of which can be seen from paved park roads. After an eventful day of discovery in the Park, return to your lodge in the evening, unwind and kick back under a starry Wyoming sky - you may even hear a coyote or two.
