Buffalo Bill's Original1904 Mountain Lodge is the closest lodge to Yellowstone National Park's east entrance. Pahaska Tepee was the Sioux Indian's name for Buffalo Bill meaning 'Longhair's Lodge' and is now on the National Historic Register.
Open year round offering modern lodging, excellent dining, lounge, gift shop and gas. Summer program- trail rides, fishing, hiking, Yellowstone tours. Pahaska offers a cross-country ski center and rentals with downhill skiing nearby.

Pahaska Tepee accomodations range from a comfortable yet secluded mountain cabin to a majestic private reunion lodge with seven bedrooms, eight baths and a jacuzzi. Guest rooms are housed in two to six room cabins under the spectacular mountains of East Yellowstone Valley. Winter Recreation
Winter is an extraordinary time to visit Pahaska and tour Yellowstone Park on snowmobiles. You will see abundant wildlife, miles of virgin snow, and the many geysers and fumeroles Yellowstone is famous for. Guided snowmobile tours leave from Pahaska Tepee to tour Yellowstone National Park.
We are also a Cross Country Ski Center with 20k of groomed and tracked ski trails. We offer a selection of rental skis, boots, and bindings. |
